About Coach Rob
Rob Benard Jr. was a resident and dedicated coach to the Agawam community for 13 years. He channeled his passion for all sports, especially football, into developing youth with not only knowledge and skills but character and commitment as well. His passion is continued by the bestowing of an annual $1,000 scholarship to a student who has played Agawam High School Football for a minimum of two years and demonstrated exceptional character.

Registration starts at 10:30
Lunch 11-12 includes burgers and dogs, macaroni salad, chips and drinks
Shotgun Start: 12:30
Dinner: 6:00 includes BBQ pulled Pork and BBQ chicken with coleslaw, corn & berry shortcake for dessert.
Format: Scramble
The Tournament will benefit the Rob Benard, Jr. Memorial Scholarship at AHS & Agawam Youth Football.
Sponsorship Opportunities
All sponsorships include a tee sign and recognition in the program book. The Rob Benard, Jr Memorial fund was established in 2021 to provide a scholarship for an Agawam High School student to assist with college expenses. The scholarship is bestowed on a senior that has played football at AHS for a minimum of two years and demonstrated exceptional character. In addition, the fund will provide an annual donation to Agawam Youth Football to purchase equipment, maintain the program and provide opportunities for team character development.
About Rob Benard
Rob was an avid sports enthusiast, a lifelong New England fan, and one of the most knowledgeable individuals when it came to recalling sporting events and beyond. He channeled his love for sports into a passion for coaching a variety of youth sports. He especially loved coaching Agawam youth football. He considered fellow coaches brothers and the kids his own.
